Yahoo! User Research Review

Many people don’t know this but Y ahoo! has a research panel where you can get paid a lot of money for research studies.  While everyone should know about Yahoo!, they do need countless people to help on their panel to improve website features and more.

What you’re going to find out is that there isn’t that much information on the Yahoo! Research Panel  online.  Why is this?  You’re going to soon find out that they don’t offer openings all that often.  When they do, you will want to bite on it, and apply.

With the Yahoo! user study, you will want to fill out information on their sign up form.  You can start here.  If you qualify for some of their studies, they will contact you and you will be compensated for your time.  Most of the surveys pay a rather large amount, which is always appealing to those that do these research panels.

Yahoo! has a few studies that you can work with.  They have usability studies where you will actually go to their headquarters.  They have telephone interviews, phone surveys, as well as field studies.  They claim that most of them will pay more than $100 for the study, depending on what the topic will be.

From what I’ve read, count on getting around 1 survey a year.  This isn’t a way to make a living, but you can make a good amount of money on that one study that you do, so it doesn’t hurt to sign up.  You have nothing to do.

Fill out the survey completely and you’re going to just have to wait.  We’re talking about a very reputable company here, so I would recommend that you sign up with them and wait.

With that being said, you’re going to get paid if you get a survey.  Keep in mind that you will only get a select few throughout the year, but you’re going to get paid big.  This survey panel is well worth joining and I’m more than happy to give it a solid B, just based on the fact that the survey selection is rather low.
