Top 7 Job Search Websites

Searching for a job online isn’t the hardest thing to do.  You just need to know where to go, and by the end of this post, you should have so many job search websites written down, you won’t even know where to start!

• SnagAJob: One of my personal favorites.  You can only search hourly jobs at retail, and other establishments.  This is great for those that are looking for jobs without a college education, or a job for that matter.  It’s also great for those looking for part time work.
• Beyond: Beyond is a network that goes under the radar all the time.  Beyond is a power search engine that allows you search over 200,000 jobs.  No matter what kind of job you’re looking for, they will most likely be able to find it for you!
• Indeed: Indeed searches thousands of career related websites online.  It’s a great search engine packed all into one.  Plus, you don’t even need to register to view the jobs, which makes it really nice to look at.
• SimplyHired: Just like Indeed, SimplyHired allows you to scour a ton of websites online that relate to jobs.  From corporate based sites, to niche based job sites.  Find the job that you need all in one place.
• Monster: A old school site, but still a good one.  The only problem that I have with this one is that there’s a lot of competition, and you’re going to find that a lot of scams pop up here as well, but it doesn’t hurt to look!
• Craigslist: Craigslist is another great alternative, but make sure that you’re aware of scams.  You’ll want to make sure that you know the employer’s name, and never EVER give out personal information to someone you don’t know.
• Dice: The last one I want to talk about is in the Tech field.  Dice caters to those looking for a tech related job, but you’re going to find that there’s a lot of qualified jobs on this site that you can check out.

These job boards should tie you over, but if you ever want more tips, simply do a Google search for your field + job search, or check out local job fairs.  There are always jobs around, so get out there, find them, and apply away!
