Survey Lion Review: Should I Join?

Survey Lion is one of the sites that I just have to giggle at when I first hit the site.  Right away, the design just kind of turns me off.  But I was always told over my life is that I can’t judge something by its cover and its so true!  Take Google for example.  They have a simple design, yet millions use it everyday!

Upon reaching the site, you’re going to be asked a few questions to sign up.  The process is relatively easy and simple.  You don’t have to sign up for offers or anything when you first hit it up like many other sites make you.

At first, Survey Lion was designed for Canadian panel members only, but now it is opened to both the United States, as well as Canada.

Since joining, the downfall to me right away was that I wasn’t receiving any surveys.  I thought I had did something wrong because 90% of the time, I get at least something for the month.  After 5 weeks, I received a measly 1 survey that I didn’t even qualify for!  This right away had shown me that their inventory is rather low.  Upon further research, since I’m not a Canadian citizen, I’m not eligible for a lot, which is a bummer!

The plus side that I have seen is that they have a great referral system for Canadian residents.  If you’re able to refer active members, you can get a rather large bounty, which is always nice.

The layout is kind of lame, the surveys don’t really come in, but it’s not a scam.  I personally wouldn’t recommend this for USA residents, because you’re going to find that you’re not going to get a big selection of surveys to do.  Instead, what you’re going to want to do is look into other options that cater to United States citizens.

Overall, I’m going to give this survey company a C- for United States residents, just based on the fact that you don’t get much in terms of surveys.
