The summer is almost over for teachers, but it doesn’t mean that you can’t prepare for next year. If you’re like me, you probably want to keep busy all the time, and if that busy work can equal money, that’s even better for you!
I think we all know that teachers generally get 2-3 months off for the summer, and that’s a long time without any work being done. If you’re thinking about ideas, here are a few that you can consider.
Try doing online surveys
Online surveys are a great way to make money at your own pace. You’re not going to make thousands of dollars per month, but rather, you’re going to make a couple hundred, depending on how hard you work. Online surveys are conducted by major companies that are looking for customer’s input. You’ll get to test new products, watch new commercials, and more.
Try selling on ebay
eBay today is bigger than ever, and if you have junk around the house, or you may have somethings that you can make, consider eBay when it comes to selling things. I’ve known people who have gone to garage sales, found some treasures, and turned around to sell them for a profit. This is something to consider if you have the free time.
Do you want to work full or part time?
If none of the options sound good to you, you may want to consider just grabbing a side job somewhere. You’ll have to treat yourself like a college student, and find something works for you. Whether it’s doing seasonal work such as landscaping, or volunteering at a local summer kids camp, there are a ton of steps you can take in order to get a small side job.
