Stay at Home Jobs for Moms

Did you just have a baby?  If so, congratulations!  This time may be very exciting, yet a little overwhelming at the same time.  We want to take care of our little one, keep the house clean, run errands, and still make some kind of income.  With such a busy schedule, the most convenient way to work is by working at home.  There are a lot of great stay at home jobs for mothers.  To find out what they are, continue reading below!

Freelance – First of all, if you don’t mind writing, freelancing could be a great job for you.  You can get hired on the Internet to write content and articles for certain websites.  Get paid for each post, or do a lump sum and get paid.  Writing online is great because it keeps your brain working, you can still take care of your child, and you can get paid while sitting in your pajamas!

Nanny – If you absolutely love children, consider taking a full-time nanny job.  A lot of these jobs allow you to work from your home and take care of both your children and the other children. 

Babysitter – If you don’t want such a big responsibility, consider babysitting a few times a week instead of being a nanny.  This is usually part-time, and doesn’t require so much work and long hours.

Tutor – Whether you are good at teaching, or you have the brains, consider being a tutor.  You can tutor children to adults in the comfort of your home.  Not to mention, people pay a lot for a tutor.

Transcription – Medical tTranscription is a great field to get into.  It may take some training, but once you’ve got it, you can work from home.  Medical transcription is a great career choice, and you can still take care of your little ones.

ebay – Are you good at selling things on ebay?  If so, you can list items for people who don’t know how to use it!  You put up their items, and take a commission off the money they make.  This is easy to do, and if you get enough customers you can make some decent money.

Once we have a child, we want to spend time with them.  We don’t want those first few years to be wasted!  So, if you’re looking for a stay at home job, be sure to consider a few of the ideas above.  These are easy to do, can be a lot of fun, and can give you that extra cash you’re looking for.
