6 Ways to Stay Safe with Online Surveys

Every time you join a survey site, you may feel a little weary giving out so much information, but you know that you have to in order to get some surveys to show up in your mailbox.
Well, I wanted to give you some tips that you can use when you’re looking to stay safe online. Not only are you going to be able to protect your computer from unwanted viruses, you can also protected your identity.
Always screen the site - Before you join, make sure that the site doesn’t have any spyware. You’re going to want to make sure that you have some sort of anti-virus protection. A free virus program such as AVG can do the trick.
Search before you join – Sure, a site may look all pretty and fun, but behind the scenes, they may rip you off. This is why it’s important to do a search online to make sure that you’re getting into something that’s going to be safe for you.
Never give out sensitive data - Never ever give out information such as your social security number, driver license number, or anything of that nature. You’re going to want to make sure you only give out things such as your name and email.
Always use a different email - Some survey companies love to spam the crap out of you. To make things easier, I would use another email account just for survey based opportunities. It’s going to make things a lot easier for you.
Don’t download things - Some companies may want you to download something before you start. You don’t have to do this. There are so many legitimate companies out there that don’t force you to install items.
Don’t buy guides – You’ve seen the guides that cost you $30 and they state that they can tell you how to make money online. You don’t want to buy into these either. They are going to tell you the same things that you can get for free online as well.
By being smart and knowing what you’re getting yourself into, you’re going to soon find out that you can find some great opportunities. Just make sure that you’re trusting your gut. If it seems too fishy, it more than likely is.
