Preparing for Phone Interview Questions
Posted by admin | Filed under Interviews
If you’ve been doing surveys for a while now, you may have come across some companies that actually want to interview you over the phone. I know this can seem like a daunting task, but what you will find out is that these type of interviews will pay out the most money!
Now, the question today is what kind of questions do they ask when they talk with you over the phone? While most companies are different, I want to point out the broad view on what you can expect.
What is the survey about?
Before they even call, you’re going to know what the survey is about. For example, I did a phone interview a few months back on vitamins. I didn’t know what kind of questions they were going to ask, but I did assume it would be related to vitamins, which it was.
Ask about your personal information
Of course, just like a regular survey that you do online, you will find that they will want personal information about yourself. Things such as your gender, age, income, as well as race will all come apart of the interview.
Rate 1-10
You really have to picture the phone interview like a survey online. A lot of the times, you’re going to get those questions such as rate this, or give me your opinion on this experience. Since the number system is huge online, you will find that the operator will ask this as well.
Give me your opinion
Do you know when you do a survey, they ask about what you think? Well, instead of typing, they will ask you a question, and you will simply have to answer. For example, let’s say that you’re doing an interview on Beer. They may ask you what you think of their jingle. After they play it, you let them know what you think about it.
Phone interviews are great because they pay a lot, and it’s a lot easier than doing a simple survey online, where you’re constantly typing. Give it a shot the next time you get the opportunity, and get paid!
