The Opinion Outpost Review You Should Read

Opinion Outpost is a pretty popular survey site online. I have found that they show up on a lot of review sites. To be honest, I’ve been with them for a while now and thought I’d share my thoughts. Why? Hey! It’s my job to tell you where the scams are and where you can join to make decent money.
At a first glance, you will show up on Opinion Outpost’s simple page. I love simple navigation based websites. This is what makes this one very attractive. Sign up was very easy and right away, I was able to jump right in and start looking around. Like any other survey based site, you’re going to want to make sure that you fill out a profile completely so that you can get all the surveys that you want.
First, let’s take a look at the postives…
The layout: It’s so easy to get around. It’s honestly one of the best ones that I have seen online that I truly don’t get frustrated with!
Stats: I love stats and what a lot of survey companies don’t do is provide you with easy to read stats. They do this here. They will show you exactly what you have done, what you have earned, etc.
Easy points: For every 10 points, you’re going to get $1. For every $5, you can cash out. This may change, so be sure to look into the rules.
Good Surveys: I get about 3 a week which is a lot for me. I usually get this on average per month with many other sites. This makes it a huge plus since this is what I’m here for.
Sure, I think the site has a silly theme that I haven’t seen before, but it’s okay to be different! Another thing that I noticed is that the payouts may tend to be a little on the slower side, but many get paid regardless.
This site is definitely not a scam and they do pay. They tend to be one of the higher rated survey sites in terms of getting them in your email. With that being said, I’m going to give Opinion Outpost a huge A!

If you are reading this, you may be like me and thousands of other individuals who pursue survey-based services online where our opinion provides an invaluable resource to product manufacturers, businesses, service providers, etc. and where our time is rewarded with compensation. I, myself, have been a member of many different paid survey services for a few years now and have had both excellent and very unfavorable experiences.
I was shocked and appalled to find out that Opinion Outpost was rated the #1 paid survey service available, yet through my experience this is by far the worst service of which I have ever been a member. I know I am not alone in saying that Opinion Outpost is notorious for taking advantage of their “cherished and valued” members, providing horrific customer service and ultimately giving survey-based services overall a marred reputation.
I was a member of Opinion Outpost for many years only to have my account flagged on several occasions for no apparent cause and/or reason. When your account is flagged you receive no survey opportunities until this flag is removed. I had to contact customer service numerous times about this issue because they never notified me that my account status had ever changed. No explanation was ever given regarding this matter and in the end my evaluation of their customer relations is that they provide inadequate, unprofessional, prejudiced and demeaning customer service with an overall lack of concern.
If this is not enough to make anyone avoid this detestable service and seek out superior avenues, here is a list of more irritably-frustrating experiences which ultimately led me to throw in the towel:
- They require you to sacrifice many hours of your time to provide an enormous amount of personal/sensitive information for which they give you ZERO compensation.
- Time and time again I have answered up to 50 questions for a single survey, providing so much useful data, only to find out that I did not qualify and thus received no compensation for my time and information provided.
- They allow their partners to covertly steal your information without compensation and/or notification… let alone permission. When you confront Opinion Outpost about such matters they respond by asking if you would like them to close your account as this is common practice.
- I can honestly say that I only qualified for 10% of the surveys they ever sent me. This equates to many hours of wasted time, confusion, frustration and utter annoyance.
Through a lot of time and wasted energy I know now that I am better off not maintaining my membership with Opinion Outpost. I hope that this review will save at least one person their precious time, effort and frustration through which myself and many other members have direly suffered.
On a side note: I have personally known other members of Opinion Outpost who have had nothing but problems similar to my own. Only a minute number of individuals have ever been satisfied by their service. I would not be surprised to find out that many of the positive reviews one can find regarding Opinion Outpost were written by employees or affiliates.
Some claim they provide the highest rate of compensation for a free service (?). But at what price?

I have had a good experience with Opinion Outpost. I have made close to $50 from working with them in only a few months. I work with several other survey sites and once you have been working with them for a while you will definitely get the hang of it. There are certain surveys that these sites provide such OTX that most survey takers know to stay away from. You can spend 20 minutes answering questions and find out later that you do not qualify.
I would recommend online surveys to anyone looking to make extra money. I have only been working with survey sites for about for months now, but since that time I have managed to make over $300. If anyone would like to read my reviews or see my payment proof feel free to check out my blog.

This is my favorite survey panel. I’ve been with them since August and already cashed out once. Right now I have a balance of over $70 waiting to be cashed anytime.
Overall my experience with them has been a good one. Definitely not a scam site, totally free to join. Noone should be afraid to sign up.
