MyPoints.com Review – How is it?

MyPoints.com is kind of unique, when you compare it to other survey based sites. A lot of people go on the web looking to do surveys, and make money with research companies. What a lot of people don’t realize is that you can make a lot more money by doing more things than just research. You can make money by playing games, shopping, and so much more.
So, you’re looking to join MyPoints? Let me tell you what I’ve found about it, and if you should even consider it.
First, what you will have to do is sign up as a member. It’s 100% free, and yes, it’s going to seem overwhelming at first, and that’s okay. There is a lot to do on this website in particular.
Right off the bat, you can get points just for filling out more information about yourself. The best way to earn points in this system is simply by reading e-mails, completing offers, and shopping.
With the shopping part, you don’t necessarily get paid to do free shopping, but you will get points instead for every dollar that you spend. It’s great if you’re looking for MyPoints points, but there are places online that will reward you with a percentage back in terms of cash.
The downfall to this site is that it takes a long time to build up the points. The rewards are great, but from the people that I surveyed, it took them an average of 6-8 months to get $50 worth of rewards. This is by far one of the longest times out of all of the places that I have reviewed.
Now, it doesn’t mean that it’s a bad site to join. You can still get points, if you work hard, and if you spend a lot of money online. The reviews online are great! Over 80% of the community would highly recommend them, and with that said, I say it’s worth a shot. Sign up, look around, and see what you can work out. I would definitely love to give this a site a B.
