#1 Start with the Internet - Man, where do I start with this one? You can make so much money online, it’s not even funny. You have to think about this one for a second. You have the WHOLE world at your fingertips. You can try affiliate marketing, eBay, freelance work, and so much more!
#2 Become a freelancer - I don’t care who you are. You probably have some sort of skill, even if it’s data entry. Try freelance sites online where you can offer your services. Bid on jobs and if you get approved, it’s a great way to make money on the side. Try websites such as Elance.com and others.
#3 Odd jobs on Craiglist – A lot of people don’t know about this, but head to your Craiglists section and go to the jobs section. Look for the odds and ends to see what kind of random jobs people have. One may be to take some packages 20 miles away, or to cut down a tree. 99% of these are one time jobs, but they can make you some nice money if you find the right job.
#4 Yard Work - Yeah, it sounds boring, but if you live in a fairly big city, hand out some flyers offering to clean gutters, mow the grass, shovel snow, and more. Don’t work too hard though, because it may turn into a full time business!
#5 Capitalize on your skill – This works for so many people and in fact, a lot of people state that they even get too much work. Find a Senior Citizen community and offer your skill. Whether it be fixing computers, fixing toilets, etc. Cater to this audience and watch the phone calls roll in.
#6 Retail jobs - Fast food, retail, and more are always looking for help. Find a job that’s going to pay you for 10-20 hours of work. Work close by if you have to, so that you don’t have to waste all of your money in gas. Try sites like SnagAJob to find that job built for you.
#7 Amazon Turk - The Amazon Turk is filled with thousands of jobs that you can start up right now. Some pay a few pennies, while others pay $5+ Do the job as stated and watch the money flow in. It can get rather addictive though.
These jobs should be enough to get you started. Browse through a few of these opportunities, or start up your own business. If it’s great enough, you may find that it becomes a full time gig! If you have any more ideas, let me know in the comments.
