Are you a high school student looking for a part-time job? If so, you must have realized there is nothing fun about begging your parents for money or not having any at all to spend. Us kids like to go to the malls, the movies and out with our friends. Although, that’s pretty hard to do if we don’t have any money to spend. If you’re interested in finding a job as a high school student, be sure to consider a few of these places!
Retail: Retail is a job that is always hiring, not to mention always accepting high school students. You may get paid minimum wage, but hey it’s money right? Whether you stock shelves, help customers, or clean up the store you’re bringing in a paycheck at the end of each week.
Fast food: Fast food is another place that is always hiring. This job is usually looked down on but where else are you supposed to work if you’re not 18 years old? Fast food isn’t a bad job, it’s actually pretty easy and better than some jobs surprisingly.
Ehow: Ehow is great if you can’t drive yet and you want to make some money from home. Simply write articles, and the more you write the more you make. Write them in a “how to” format using step by step directions and you’ll be making money each month.
Surveys: Another great website to check out is “findmysurveys.com”. This website allows you to participate in surveys and get paid for them. Check out the website if you’re interested, and start making money.
Babysit: Babysitting is a great job if you love children. You can work on your homework in their down time, have some fun, and get paid for an easy job!
Although there aren’t several jobs to choose from when you’re in high school, there are still some. Which means it’s better than nothing. Not to mention, if you put in a few years you’ll most likely get promoted and maybe makign some decent money in your near future. So, for now if you’re looking for a job, consider the ideas above!
