Earning Extra Cash in Hard Times

Everyone knows that today’s economy isn’t the hottest, and if you’re not making a lot of money with your job, you may want to find other ways of making cash on the side.  While making money on the side isn’t hard, you just need to be motivated, and know where to start in order to make a little extra cash.

Start by trying out surveys

Our website here focuses on companies that are willing to pay your for your opinion.  Major companies want to get input back on their future products.  If you sign up for 5 or so companies, and do the surveys, you can easily make anywhere from $5+ a month per company.  You won’t become rich, but it will pay a few bills.

Sell some old junk on eBay

Everyone knows what eBay is, and if you have a lot of old junk laying around, you may want to grab it all, and start selling it online.  If you have a whole garage full of stuff, you may find that you’re going to make more money than expected.  For example, I had a room full of all kinds of junk, and ended up making around $1,500.

Look for part time jobs

There are plenty of jobs out there that are willing to give you work part time.  Jobs such as delivering papers, and pizzas can bring you in an extra $200 a week.  Sure, the hours are going to suck, but if you need money in this down economy, I wouldn’t turn any job, really.

It’s important that if you do apply for a part time job that you follow up.  If you follow up, and make it known that you’re interested, this is going to increase your chances.
