5 Ways to Get Paid to Do Surveys

You see those obnoxious ads that claim that you can make $2,000 in one hour!  While it sounds like a great thing to do, you really have to sit back and ask yourself, “Is this really going to happen?”

We all know that old saying, “If it sounds too good to be true, it probably is!”  You never want to buy into scams, if you’re desperate for cash, because you’re going to be taken for a ride.

I decided to come up with a top 5 list that you can follow, when you’re looking to get paid to do surveys.

#1 Do your homework - If you find something that you think is worth joining, start doing your research on the company.  What are other people saying about it?  Are you getting a good vibe?  If you notice that other people like it, you may like it to.

#2 What do they require – If they require your phone number, address, and other items such as your social security number, you may want to look elsewhere.  Many legit companies are going to ask for your address only.  While some ask for your phone number, research them again to make sure that you’re giving your number to someone that you trust.

#3 Don’t download anything - I’ve found that there are a select few companies out there that require that you download a toolbar.  If you download these type of things, you’re going to want to make sure that you’re dealing with a company that isn’t giving you nothing but spyware.  Spyware is a common thing out there and you will want to make sure that you’re not getting it installed on your computer.

#4 How are they paying? Are they going to pay you by Paypal? Cash? Sweepstakes?  I hate companies that will pay you in raffle tickets.  This is basically tell you to sign up to do surveys for free.  This is something that you don’t want to do.  Instead, find a company that’s going to pay you with Paypal.  Also make sure that you look for payment proof.

#5 Look for payment proof – This brings me to my last point.  Make sure that you always look for payment proof.  For example, you can always Google “Survey Company +  Payment Proof.”  By doing this, you should be able to find some check images.  If you find a lot, this is a great sign.  If you can’t find many, this could be a problem.

Use your head and figure out which one is going to work for you.  If you do your homework, you’re going to find out that you can find a company that works for you.  Refer lots of friends, family, and you can make some good money!
